The SFTP functionality of Termius lets you securely transfer files between two hosts, one of which can be your local device.
Before using SFTP:
Make sure that you’ve added the host(s) to Termius.
If your Termius is from Mac App Store or Microsoft Store, please, read this.
👉 To begin using SFTP, navigate to the SFTP screen.
The SFTP interface consists of two panels, each of which allows you to browse and manage files on one of your hosts. Transferring files between hosts can be done with drag-and-drop. See below to learn more about using SFTP.
To connect to a host, follow the prompt on the SFTP screen.
Alternatively, click the hostname at the top of the panel and choose one from the list of hosts.
To switch to your localhost, click the hostname at the top of the panel and choose Local, as shown in the picture below.
Tap Local at the top to switch from local host to another host.
If the second panel is not visible (when in the portrait mode), you can switch to it using the controls at the bottom right.
Tap your current location at the top to switch to another host. (Local:/storage/emulated/0).
Select one or more files (holding Shift) and drag them to the other panel. Alternatively, right-click and choose Copy to target directory.

If you've downloaded Termius from Mac App Store or Microsoft Store, your Termius runs in the sandbox. This means the app can't access your local drive due to restrictions of Apple and Microsoft.
But, there is a workaround:
Turn on an ssh server on your (local) device.
In Termius, from the top left menu choose Profile.
Enable Allow local SSH/SFTP connections and enter the credentials to the user account, under which the ssh server runs, on your device.
As a result, you'll be able to access the localhost as if the app is not sandboxed, but this will be over SSH.
