SFTP

Please note that SFTP is a Premium feature.

Termius's SFTP support allows you to transfer files to and from your remote systems. It works on both mobile and desktop clients.

Before using SFTP, you'll need to add a host. If you want to use an SSH key, you'll need to add that as well. If you don't, you'll be prompted for the password when trying to connect unless you saved it with the host.

To use SFTP, click on the SFTP tab in the main menu.

Interface

The Desktop SFTP interface is arranged in a two-pane format. By default, the left pane is your local file system while the right pane contains the remote file system.

Connect

To connect, click Select Host, then double-click the host you wish to use.

Copying Files

To copy a file, right click and select Copy to Target Directory.

Show Hidden Files

To view hidden files, select Show Hidden Files in the Actions menu on the appropriate pane.

Working with Folders

You can create a new folder by selecting New Folder from the Actions menu.

To rename or delete a folder, select the folder then pick the appropriate action from the Actions menu. You may also right-click the folder and choose Rename or Delete.

The macOS App Store and Linux Snap versions are sandbox and thus can't directly access the filesystem by default. To allow this, enable Allow Local SSH/SFTP Connections in Termius's Settings.
